The House of Marley presents "The Get Together" featuring Protoje - Sun. Oct. 26, 2014.

"The Get Together' in Miami, this past weekend, was one of the hottest reggae shows the US has seen in a long time! It was Protoje's first time performing in the Magic City and as a result many of his guest artists & colleagues flew in or stopped by to share the love with him on stage.

The features kept the audience wanting more. First, Toian with the single "Shot by Love" off of Protoje's 2nd studio album the 8 Year Affair. Da Professor joined Protoje to perform their 2011 track "Skanking and Rocking". Then came a throwback for the ladies, when Ky-Mani Marley hit the stage to perform "Rasta Love", the hit that has over 17 million views on youtube and counting. Following Ky-Mani's signature Marley performance, Kabaka Pyramid and Protoje performed 'Warrior". Kabaka, in his usual pattern, hit the audience with freestyle on freestyle. The night was then capped with Chronixx joining Protoje for their collaboration, the hit single "Who Knows" and a selection of other songs like "Mi Alright" with Kabaka. In a shining moment all 3, Protoje, Chronixx & Kabaka, took the stage to the delight of a sold out crowd of over 800 people from South Florida, Jamaica and the world, who came in for the show.

"The Get Together" is an event series sponsored by The House of Marley that will take place in Miami & other major cities worldwide. The show was promoted by Jason Panton from I&I Worldwide - that hosts events in Jamaica such as Dubwise & Live from Kingston, coming up on Dec. 20, where Protoje will perform & Lance-O, veteran DJ, promoter,  and personality from Kulcha Shok.
